How Our Programs Work
choose the skills your group needs
Your group needs skills - we have the people who can help you get those skills. Below are some of the crucial areas that we focus on during our workshops.
work on the skills your group needs
low ropes
Low Ropes consists of a series of initiatives, challenges, and ground elements. These low-risk, low-impact activities build the foundations of teamwork, trust and communication that will be used throughout the day. Unique, fun games help break the ice and get everyone talking comfortably. A progression of more and more difficult challenges require everyone’s input in order to be solved.
high ropes
Our elements are between 35 and 40 feet tall and many can be completed in pairs. Our activities include our Rock Wall, High-V, Incomplete Bridge, Leap of Faith, Catwalk, Pipe Dreams, and Giant Swing. Even if only one participant is climbing, the entire group is involved in encouraging and motivating their groupmate to achieve beyond what they thought possible.
processing and our philosophy
All of our activities are challenge by choice run. Even the smallest steps are encouraged as ways to build character and self-esteem. After each activity, our facilitators sit with the group and lead discussions on the group’s successes, failures, and ways to improve in the future. Most importantly, we explore how skills used here can be transferred to the world beyond camp.
