Overnights are Thursday to Friday evening, immediately after camp ends so campers simply stay at camp from one day to the next. For 2025, our overnights will be during weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8.

You can simply add an overnight to your registration through your Camp Brain account here: https://tumbleweed.campbrainregistration.com/ (https://tumbleweed.campbrainregistration.com/). Overnights are $115 for Summer 2025.

Please send your camper with the following items: - pajamas - a sweatshirt - an extra change of clothes - toiletries - a flashlight - a sleeping bag - a pillow If your camper needs to take medication during the time they will be here with us, please send their medication in the prescription bottle with the time that it needs to be taken. Please don't send anything else for the overnight! That means please leave tents, toys, electronics (including phones) and anything else at home.

Overnights are open to campers attending Tumbleweed North (3rd-8th grade) who are registered for the weeks during which the overnight occurs.

Of course! For many of our campers (especially after 2020), Tumbleweed overnights are their first time sleeping away from home. Many of our campers come with medication or vitamins that they need to take before bed or in the morning. For any medication (over the counter or even vitamins) that need to be taken at camp, please notify Liz Kimmelman and the North directors in a email at liz@tumbleweedcamp.com (liz@tumbleweedcamp.com)and north@tumbleweedcamp.com (north@tumbleweedcamp.com)and follow these procedures: If your camper requires medication at an overnight: -Please send them with the medication in a gallon-sized ziplock bag, IN THE ORIGINAL box with prescription on the side. If you no longer have the original container or that is not possible, please print out the RX. Please label the ziplock bag with your child's name. Please feel free to include additional instructions on a separate sheet of paper in the ziplock bag. -When you arrive at camp or at the bus, please pass the medication directly to the counselor. Do not pack the medication in your child's backpack. We know sometimes medication is taken for sensitive reasons. Please know that our staff and directors will be discrete and respectful - we must be in possession of all medication at all times at camp. -Your camper's medication will be placed back in their backpack by their bus counselor the next afternoon, unless they have completed all the doses provided. If for whatever reason you have to end your session early or the medication is not with your child on the last day, contact me immediately and we will drop it off at your house or a convenient spot.

We provide dinner on Thursday, breakfast on Friday and campers make lunch for Friday as well (unless you order lunch from Citizen Sprout). Our dinners consist of classic cookout favorites like hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, chips, and watermelon. Breakfast is pancakes, sausage, cereal and milk, and fruit. Lunches are sandwiches of all types with a piece of fruit, cookie, and chips. If your child has allergies or dietary restrictions, please feel free to connect with us so we can plan accordingly.
